Exciting Opportunity for a Hematologist/Oncologist to Join a Rapidly Growing Practice in Southern Illinois
The new hire will join another Oncologist with an already thriving cancer practice in a rapidly growing health care system. The office is located in the professional building attached to the hospital. Salary is very competitive.
As the new Hematologist/Oncologist you will admit patients to Memorial Hospital of Carbondale, ranked a Top 100 Hospital for the last two years by Solucient, an industry leader in hospital quality improvement. Memorial is a not-for-profit, patient focused hospital with a strategic plan designed specifically to create an efficient, safe, hassle-free environment for specialty physicians.
The hospital is a regional medical center and is currently adding a two-floor addition to increase capacity and provide nearly all private rooms. The hospital imaging center includes all-digital imaging and archiving with 64-slice CT scanning, MRI and PET.
Memorial Hospital of Carbondale is part of the Southern Illinois Healthcare system, a Top 51 Thomson Reuters Health System. MHC is Southern Illinois’ regional acute-care facility with physicians in over 40 specialties. We have a 24-hour Hospitalist program and are proud to be a teaching facility for SIU Family Medicine Residency – Carbondale & West Frankfort.
